I finished my girlie and I think I am going to make a sister for her. I'm going to do another 6X6 to go with this one with a little girl and a moon. I want to tell you about a new product I used on the painting. They are called Twinkling H2O's by Luminarte. They are little wells of a dense powder that you mix with water. They turn into a watercolor, but they are extremely shiny and sparkly! I used the iridescent color to coat over my paint. I tried to get a good photo of how shiny it is so you can get the feel of them. Hopefully I did an ok job. They come in any color you can imagine and I totally want to get brighter colors and try them out. Right now I only have iridescent, gold and bronze. I originally found out about them in the Scrapbooking/Stamping world, but I really think they are great for mixed media as well. There is a 6 step demo on YouTube on how to use them with stamps. Just type in Twinkling H2O in the search engine. Let me know if you have ever used these before and how you like them.
