Painting in Progress Part 2

Here is the second part of my current painting. I painted some trees and flowers and decided at the last minute to paint a cat. This is my first cat and I'm pretty happy with him. I love cats, but unfortunately I'm allergic to them. I grew up with cats and never had a problem, but somewhere along the line as an adult I became allergic...go figure. Anyway, let me know what you think so far. Please leave a comment. I love to read them and get to know who is looking at my blog!

The cat is so cute! I like how it's coming along and how you incorporated all the things from the classes you took. Really neat! Isn't it funny how we "become" allergic to things along the way. I had the same thing as you, but with bee stings, and not in a good way. I was never allergic to anything as a child and I got stung by a bee 4 years ago and went into shock and had trouble breathing. Too scary! So then I got prescribed an epi pen and keep it with me so if it happens again, I can quickly take care of the reaction. I haven't had to use it and I have had to get newer ones as time goes by (dated medicine). I am happy for that, but now when I see a bee or bees, I try not to freak out, but it's hard. I usually just RUN! LOL! I learned time is of the essence with allergies like that. I have no idea where I developed that allergy along my way in life. Anyway, again, look forward to the end result of the painting! I love you work!
