Here is a little painting I did over the weekend. I wanted to paint something a little different from my normal style. I like the warm colors and her eyes are a little closer together. It was a lot of fun and I like this small size canvas. Oh by the way her name is Tori and I am going to list her in my Etsy shop this week.

hi! i'm answering the question you left on my blog! when i decided to start listing on ebay again (used to sell primitive dolls & such), i knew i'd need to be consistent. so i "got ahead" with several paintings to start with. now i have a rhythm with 7 day listings.during the week, i complete 4 -6 new paintings for the next week. i'm a night owl so that helps and i sketch regularly and keep my eyes open for inpsiration. my husband is also learning to help me protect my studio time (from 2 little boys). so, right now, that's how i do it. i'm really treating this as my career, just as important as my husband's job. you know?
